Zolo got to new titles to add to her already very long list today: Swedish Winner 2018 and Swedish Veteran Winner 2018, by going Best bitch with Nordic CC, BOS and BOB veteran!

Tonight, Frutti gave birth to six lovely little babies, 4 males and 2 females, all red/white! More information about this litter can be found on the puppy page.

Today we attended the international Norwegian Winner show and Ch Kimwitu's Zolotaya "Zolo" can add a new title to her long list: Norwegian Veteran Winner 2018! SPBIS Shahrans Superfruity "Nessie" was 2:nd in a big junior class with CQ. Big congratulations to our father-to-be Celebrity Stile Dominant Star "Timmy" to BOB with CC, CACIB and Norwegian Winner 2018! 42 basenjis entered.

SE CH Shahrans Raspberry Ripple "Tammo" entered his first German show today and won the open class with CC and Club-CC! Congrats Alice!

Narfi Of Swala Pala "Trico" won the junior class and was 3:rd best male with R-CC at Växjö international show. Well done Anders! We also congratulate father-to-be to our expected litter, Timmy, for getting CC & CACIB!

9 months old Shahrans Fruit Infusion "Benzo" entered his first show as a junior today and was Best male with the "big" CC & Nordic CC and BOS at NKK Harstad Nordic show! Way to go Ida and Benzo!

Tammo and Ziba entered the international shows of Tulln with Bundessieger and Crufts qualification. Tammo was entered both days and Ziba was entered on Saturday only, and the results were impressive! Tammo, handled for the first time in the official classes by his owner Alice, won the open class both days with CC and got two R-CACIB's (that will both be confirmed as CACIB's) to take home! Ziba, also handled by her owner, Urska, was Best bitch with CC & CACIB and BOS with Crufts qualification! Big congrats Alice and Urska!

Last year, Zolo was BEST IN SHOW at the Copenhagen Winner show in Ballerup, Denmark, and this year she was again in top-3! She was also BEST IN SHOW veteran! What an amazing dog she is... in so many ways! ♥ BOS with CC, CACIB and KBH W-18 was Stitch, 2:nd best male with Veteran-CC, BOS veteran and KBH VW-18 was Rocky and 3:rd best male with R-CC and R-CACIB was Kaos.

KBH JW-17 Shahrans Dressed For Success "Tilly" was BOB, BIG-1 and BEST IN SHOW 2 at a local show in Sandared, Sweden, today. Congrats Åsa!

Ch Shahrans Phantom Of The Opera "Fantomet" (Ch Vicita's Diamond From Africa x LCCh Shahrans Rafhaela In Pj's) was eye checked today - all CLEAR - at almost 9 years of age. He is also thyroid tested with normal values. Fantomet is hopefully becoming father of a litter at kennel Doberguard this winter. Good luck, we are excited to see the result!

The summer ended with another amazing weekend for Zolo! Thank you all for your support and to the judges Tuire Okkola (FI) and Ann-Chaterine Edoff (SE) for thinking so highly of Zolo! Zolo was BOB, BIG-1, BEST IN SHOW 2 and BEST IN SHOW veteran at SKK Backamo nat. show from an entry of 1862 dogs! Same result as last year (although not veteran then)! Nessie was BOB puppy out of 4 and Bobby was BOS veteran! Sawyer the whippet was 2:nd best male with R-CC in tough competition, sooo close to his champion title... What a great way to end the summer!

NO CH DK CH Storm "Echo", a son of our Pavlov, had an amazing weekend going BOB, BIG-1 and BEST IN SHOW on Saturday and BOB, BIG-1 and BEST IN SHOW 3 on Sunday at a double nat. show in Norway! BIG congrats to his owner Aslaug and breeder Sölvi!

Pluto's kids in Finland have done well in the puppy show rings and we are very excited to keep following their development. Today Bubbling Under Bestseller "Lola" was BOS puppy at a nat. show. Congrats to her owner and breeder!

Lovely day at SKK Askersund nat. show! Trico was BOB puppy (out of 4) and Nessie was 2:nd best bitch puppy with HP. Zolo was BOB veteran & BOB with her brother Conny as BOS veteran & BOS! Gibson, 25 months old, made a rare appearence in the show ring today for the first time in over a year and won the CC, making him a Swedish Champion at the first possible try and in all from only a handful of shows! Congratulations Anna and Mats! 2:nd best bitch with CC went to Tilly! Congrats Åsa! Sawyer the whippet was 2:nd in open class with CQ. Zolo later finished the day with BEST IN SHOW 2 veteran, her 9:th BIS veteran placement at 9 KC shows in Sweden... What a family day! :)

The Swedish Basenji Specialty show 2018 has come to an end and we had a lovely and hot day at High Chaparral! Our girls did great, Nessie by going best bitch puppy and BOB/BEST IN SHOW puppy out of 14 puppies, and Zolo by going 2:nd best bitch and BEST IN SHOW veteran! 8 veterans and 25 bitches entered. We had also entered Rocky in veteran 10+ just for fun and he was 2:nd with HP.

We had a lovely weekend in Tvååker with great results! On Friday Nessie was BOB puppy out of 7 and Zolo best bitch with Nordic CC, BOB veteran and BOB out of 14! In the finals, both girls placed! Zolo as BEST IN SHOW 4 veteran out of 82 (!) veterans and Nessie as BEST IN SHOW 2 puppy out of an even larger class of puppies! This qualified her for 'Puppy Of The Year - all breeds - 2018', that will be held at Grand Hotel in Stockholm next spring. Zolo also went BIG-4!

On Saturday young Kaos made it all the way to best male with CC and BOS to Zolo who was again BOB veteran and BOB! Nessie was 2:nd best bitch puppy with HP and Fenris was 4:th best male. 3:rd best male with R-CC went to NO CH DK CH Storm "Echo", a son of our Pavlov. 7 puppies and 14 adults were entered. Zolo finished the weekend by going BEST IN SHOW 4 veteran from about 40 veterans! Thank you all for a nice weekend!

Shahrans Pim Pim (at Silverbriar) "Pim Pim" went BEST IN SHOW today at a local show in England! Congrats Jessica!

Wow, wow, wow... What a weekend we had in Borås! This weekend was going to be the last one in Sweden for Tammo who turned 2 years old two weeks ago and since he needed a CC after 2 years of age this was the chance for him to take his Swedish title... And he did it by going best male and BOS! Tammo can now call himself SE CH Shahrans Raspberry Ripple with 4 x CC's (with 4 x BOS) taken in the last 5 shows! Congrats to his owners Alice and Emanuel, thank you for letting us show him and good luck with your move to Germany! 6 months old Nessie was entered in puppy class for the first time and was BOB puppy out of 4! Entered for the first time was also 6 months old Trico who was 2:nd best male puppy with HP. Tilly won the intermediate class with CQ and Zolo was BOB veteran and BOB! Zolo then managed to go all the way in both finals with BEST IN SHOW veteran and BIG-1!

On Sunday we entered the SSUK club show and this was Rocky's day! Rocky, 11 years in December, who was entered just for fun, really managed to charm the judge and went all the way to BOS and beat Zolo for BOB veteran! Tammo was 2:nd best male. Nessie was 2:nd best bitch puppy with HP and Trico was 2:nd best male puppy with HP. Rocky later also went BEST IN SHOW veteran!

The day didn't stop there though as Zolo was going to compete for BIS at the KC show and SHE DID IT! BEST IN SHOW out of 2700 entered dogs at the SKK Borås nat. show 2018! Wow! Thank you all for your kind words and support, and off course to the judges Robert A Indeglia (breed and BIS), Andrzej Stepinski (Group) and Robert Harbin (BIS veteran) for thinking so highly of Zolo!

Sawyer's daughter Bessi is a new Swedish tracking champion and can now call herself SE VCH Delaklin's Burning Love! Congrats to her owner and breeder!

Shahrans Miss Universe "Ziba" got R-CC and R-CACIB from the international show in Bled, Slovenia! Congrats to her owner/handler Urska!

In rain, strong winds and 6°C, Shahrans Fruit Infusion "Benzo" was BOB puppy yesterday at a national show in Tromsö, Norway! Today at the international show at the same place, he was BOS puppy. Congrats Ida!

Two of Sawyer's sons have been successful in the show ring and on the field during the past few days! Delaklin's Always By Your Side "Arne" was BOB with CC at the Lure Coursing trial in Östersund yesterday and Klenod's Yum-Yum "Otto" got his third CC and thereby the title Swedish Champion at SKK Norrköping nat. show last weekend (Otto is also a multiple CC-winner on LC and on his way towards a tracking champion title as well...)! Big congrats to their owners and breeders!

Sunday was another lovely day in hot weather at SKK Vänersborg Nordic show! Tammo was BOS with CC and Nordic CC (this would have made him champion if he was only 6 days older...), Tilly was 1:st in intermediate class with CQ and Zolo was BOB with Nordic CC (her 5:th in 5 shows!), BOB veteran and finshed the day with BEST IN SHOW 2 veteran!

Indigo Of Swala Pala "Sawyer" won the big open class with CQ and was 4:th best male with CC at SKK Vänersborg Nordic show in tough competition! 74 whippets entered and judge was Christophe Coppel (FR).

We had a lovely day in very hot weather at a local show in Gothenburg with 5 months old Nessie and Tammo, who were going to be shown by his owner for the first time. Nessie was BOB puppy, BIG-1 puppy and BEST IN SHOW 2 puppy and Tammo was BOB and BIG-1! Congrats Alice and well done!

Shahrans Fruit Infusion "Benzo" has been on a double nat. show in Narvik, Norway, and was BOB puppy and BIG-3 puppy on Saturday and BOB puppy and BIG-4 puppy on Sunday (from group 1 and 5 combined both days...)! Congratulations to his owner/handler Ida!

We had a great and sunny day at SKK Hässleholm nordic show! First show in Sweden for our young boy Kaos and he did great going 2:nd best male and BOS junior with CC and res. Nordic CC! His grandmother Zolo was BOB and BOB veteran with Nordic CC and finished the day by going BEST IN SHOW 2 veteran!

Sawyer the whippet wasn't entered himself but had a progeny group that went Best Group with a lovely critique (didn't stay for the finals). Big congrats to his son Delaklin's Blue Sky "Otto" that went 3:rd best male with R-CC and BOS junior from huge competition at his very first show!

After resting on Saturday and catching up some sleep from our trip to Denmark, we had an amazing day at SKK Lidköping nordic show on Sunday! Shahrans Raspberry Ripple "Tammo" was BOS with CC and Nordic CC, KBH JW-17 Shahrans Dressed For Success "Tilly" was first in junior class with CQ and Ch Kimwitu's Zolotaya "Zolo" was BOB and BOB veteran with Nordic CC! She was later also BIG-1 and BEST IN SHOW veteran!

We took a short trip to Denmark, to enter the first day of the large three day shows in Roskilde, with Nessie, Zolo and Kaos. This would be the first time to spend some time with Kaos since he came back to Sweden and to practise for upcoming shows with him. He did very well going first in intermediate class with CQ. In the competition for best male he was beaten by four champions and ended up just outside placement (5:th). Nessie was BOB baby out of 4 and Zolo went all the way to best bitch with Nordic CC (her second one in two shows), Veteran CC, BOB veteran and finally BOB! 21 basenjis were entered. In a horribly cold weather she was later also BIG-2 from about 35 breeds in group 5! BOS was Storm, a son of our Pavlov, who became Danish Champion! Big congrats to owners and breeder!

Shahrans Superfruity "Nessie" entered her first show today and was BOB puppy, BIG-1 puppy and went all the way to BEST IN SHOW puppy 4-6 months at SÄKK unoff. show in Sandared. Judges were Lasse Österlund (breed and group) and Gunnar Furuvik (BIS).

Our "Tea - litter" turns 4 months old today and Shahrans Fruit Infusion "Benzo" was the first one to enter the show ring. He was BOB puppy at the national Nordlys show in Norway today! Congrats to his owner/handler Ida!

Pavlov's kids Storm "Echo" and Queen "Piffi" had a good start of the year by going BOB and BOS at Etne nat. show making them both brand new Norwegian Champions! Big congrats to their owners and breeder!

With very limited showing, Zolo has accomplished this placement for the 4:th time in her life; 2012, 2013, 2015 & 2017 (not shown 2014 and 2016...), and collected some fantastic results last year:

The puppies have turned 8 weeks old and two of them have moved to new homes. The third one, Shahrans Superfruity "Nessie", is staying with her mother here at Shahrans (with Maria), Shahrans Finest Fruit "Zingo" has moved to Bohus, Sweden, and Shahrans Fruit Infusion "Benzo" has moved to Norway. More information can be seen on their own pages. We wish Zingo and Benzo good luck in their new homes and hope to see them both soon again!

What a way to start the year! Zolo had her first shows after going BEST IN SHOW at DKK international Copenhagen Winner show last September and she went all the way to BEST IN SHOW veteran BOTH days at SKK MyDog nordic and international shows! Couldn't have had a better start in veteran class... :) She was also BOS with Nordic CC on Thursday and BOB and BIG-4 on Friday! A few other Shahrans dogs were entered on either of the days and Tilly was 3:rd best bitch with R-CC from junior class on Thursday, Tammo was first in intermediate class with CQ on Friday and Bobby was BOS veteran with CQ on Friday. Congrats to you all!

On Sunday Sawyer had a progeny group for the first time and with lovely words from the judge they went BOB and later also BEST IN SHOW 3! Sawyer himself won the very strong and large open class of 11, with CQ. Congrats to his daughter Delaklin's Betty Boop "Jasmine" for 2:nd place with CQ out of 7 junior bitches!
